A Second Chance – A Vietnamese’s Gang Story
I’ve been working on a future length script titled “Vietnamese Gang”. I wanted to portrait hardships by first generation Vietnamese arriving in America and rejected its society while struggling to fit in and keeping cultural customs at the same time. This particular arc of the story involves a teen named Hung, who’s joined the gang at the age of 12 and is now 19. This deals with his life in a gang as well as trying to reconnect with his community while doing service after getting arrested for a fight. If anyone is interested and is willing to read this, please give me some feed back. This really is my baby and I hope to turn this into a movie one day.
