Pho Thai Nam Review

I recently enjoyed lunch at a Thai restaurant called Pho Thai Nam located in Blue Bell.  This place is particularly pleasant to me.  Nothing in the restaurant really stands out, beside that it is spacious despite having limited tables.  The waitress does not speak Vietnamese, which was a bit disappointing as the restaurant is a combination of Vietnamese and Thai dishes put together.  We came for lunch and it wasn’t that busy.  My girl and I had steamed chicken dumplings for appetizers, which were OK.  It was good for where this place was at but the dumpling is no where as good as china town.  The Thai tea were also a bit too sweet, for most people anyway, my girl and I liked it just fine.  For entrees, I went with the pineapple fried rice and my girl chose chicken green curry with steamed rice.  I asked for the curry to be extremely spicy, big mistake on my part.  The foods were wonderful and burned half our tounges.  We recently had curry at another Thai restaurant, which were not anywhere as nearly spicy as this.   Level three here would have been more than adequate, but I asked for a level four, making it close to unbearable.  However, this did not ruin our lunch, as everything came close to about 35 dollars with tips.  I’m a big guy and it was more than we could handle.  Not perfect, but definitely recommended.  Three and a half stars out of five.
